Our 4-Stage Website Design Model
It’s very easy to take a pre-designed template, change the colours and fonts, add the client’s name and logo together with a few relevant images and “hey Presto!”, another finished website, on to the next! A large amount of web design companies adopt this approach or something very similar. We don’t call that website design.
We believe that to be effective, for a website to work, it should be designed from the ground up for the specific client and to meet the client’s objective rather than that of the web designer. To this end, we have developed a unique 4-stage process — We call it D3M.
Design Your Website
In this stage we work closely with you until we establish the exact “look and feel” that all agree is optimal for the finished website. To use a building analogy, in this stage we draw up the plans and lay down the foundations on which to build.
Develop Your Website
In the development stage we create the template that will form the finished website, and add navigation and the page content (text, images, audio-visual, etc.) In other words, we add the walls, doors, windows and roof to the foundations and put some furniture in.
Deploy Your Website
Effective website deployment is more than just uploading pages to your domain, but that is all that many website design businesses do. We do a lot more “behind the scenes” to help your web pages get off to a good start in all the major search engines. And we tell the search engines that your website is there. This is similar to inviting Google, Yahoo, etc. to your “housewarming” party.
Manage Your Website
Many clients find that once their website has been live for a short while, various content changes suggest themselves or are suggested by friends, business colleagues and clients, and website visitors. To cater for this we provide a minimum three calendar month management period after your website goes live; all at no additional charge!
