Search Engine Submission
Search Engine Submission (SES)
Launching a website then sitting back and waiting for people to visit it is a bit like opening a shop in the middle of a field — the occasional person might stumble upon it unexpectedly but qualified traffic will be virtually zero.
You should certainly not ignore traditional marketing methods to advertise your new website – on your stationery, printed advertising, signwriting, etc — but eventually you will get most of your website traffic via the search engines.
Part of the deployment phase of our website design process is to tell the major search engines that your website is there. Google, Yahoo, Bing and Ask each have different requirements for website submission, some more complex than others. We understand these requirements and will submit your website address, individual web page names and more to each of them individually and manually (search engines do not like automatic submission and may penalise a site for using it).
